If your head is spinning in preparation for buying a second hand car, look no further! Last weekend I bought an immaculate Skoda Citygo for a very fair price, with part exchange, from Gary the owner of High Peak Cars in Chapel-en-le-Frith. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Gary and the car was waiting outside the garage, gleaming in the winter sunshine. We took a comprehensive test drive, went through all the tech in detail, Gary answered all my questions & then we sorted the paperwork, quietly and methodically in the office.This reassuring one to one encounter, in a lovely setting, with a knowledgeable professional, dedicated to the trade & the positive outcomes of their customers, was an entirely tension free, first rate purchasing experience, with great communications from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier with my car & would trade with High Peak Cars again in a heartbeat + strongly recommend their service to others.

Got my first car of high peak cars, Gary was so helpful showing the car and answering any questions we had. Had no issues at all and also delivered the car for me can’t recommend high peak cars enough !

We bought a VW UPgti from High Peak in early January. The whole experience was great, no pressure at all from Gary, he let our son, just 17, drive the car on a really good test drive. After agreeing to buy the car all went smoothly, Gary even put half a tank of fuel in it when we picked it up. You don't often get that these days.

The whole experience of buying my car from Gary could not have been better. The car was in fantastic condition with a very low mileage. He dealt with all the necessary paperwork which saved me any stress. After a few days I realised that the rear head restraints were missing. I contacted Gary on Christmas day and he sourced some and had them delivered directly to me. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an exceptional car and the best car salesman I’ve ever met.

I’m never normally 100% confident when buying a car, but I genuinely felt at ease buying from High Peaks Cars. Gary has a great personality and is 100% trustworthy. The cars are to a very high standard, and everything is handled properly and professionally. It’s clear he takes real pride in his work. You can see how he’s built such a strong reputation and successfully run the business for over 40 years. I genuinely wish him every good customer — he absolutely deserves it. I’d happily recommend him to anyone.

Bought a Toyota IQ from High Peak Cars and it was a stress free experience. Gary was great told me loads about the car took for a drive and bought it. No hassle no pressure. Picked it up and it had new mats, plenty of fuel and taxed ready to drive. Definitely would use again. 10/10. Thank you Gary.

We bought our daughter's first car from Gary and we are delighted with it. Everything was as described, it runs perfectly and bought at a great price. The purchase was very easy, straightforward and with absolutely no pressure. Gary was approachable and helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We would have no hesitation in buying from him again.
